The Challenge
The Other Side app, created for DJ Bassnectar, serves as a dynamic space for creativity, connection, and fan engagement. The challenge was to streamline navigation and refine the user journey, making it effortless for members to explore exclusive content and interact with the community.
Started by establishing Lorin's needs and goals. Then created a site map of how the various sections would relate and interact with each other. Helping us visualize how the user would flow through the app.
Research
The Other Side app was designed to boost engagement and drive membership sign-ups by creating a seamless entertainment hub. More than just a platform for Lorin, it provided affiliated artists with a direct connection to a passionate fan base—offering a centralized space for EDM lovers to immerse themselves in music and community.

Proposed solution
We designed the app to serve both free visitors and paid members. Free users could explore and sample select content while clearly seeing the value of a low-cost subscription. The experience was highly branded and seamlessly integrated, providing easy access to music, concerts, interviews, chats, and ticket sales through a streamlined interface.
